As she folds, tidies and recites her life, she takes her audience on a journey of emotions and truths as she embarks on her own journey back home. Silent Tsunami shares a story of connection, memory and confusion as her world comes spiralling down, the silence before a storm. Some waves you never see coming."
 
This piece is very personal, drawn from my grandma's journey with dementia. I want to raise awareness of the early signs by portraying fictional moments that reflect the confusion, distress and fear that I imagine she endured. 
 
This is only the beginning of this piece, I want to develop and expand. This R&D process helps kickstart my next steps in that exploration. 
 
In future plans, I hope to explore the perception through the eyes of a loved one too. Ideas are bubbling... all support and guidance is appreciated.
